Welcome to Major Quest, LLC. My interest in career decision-making began while changing majors for the third time as a senior in college. In desperation I sought guidance at the university counseling center, which included assessments that helped me determine my life’s work. Unfortunately very few colleges offer the Highlands Ability Battery, which truly is “the gold standard” of assessments.
I wish career decisions had become easier, but unfortunately they have gotten much more difficult and costly. How does one match their gifts and talents with thousands of choices, most of which are unknown to them? Combine that with the added expense from changing majors or balancing education with adult financial responsibilities, and the task can become daunting.
Tom Christofferson has 26 years experience counseling teenagers, founding career centers, and training colleagues in the public schools as well as teaching career decision-making courses at the high school and collegiate levels.
