:Teri Howell is the founder of Rise UP Coaching, where she works with students and adults to help them gain clarity, direction, and confidence in navigating life’s key transitions. With a heart for empowering others to understand their God-given strengths, she provides thoughtful, individualized coaching around major life decisions such as college planning, career changes, and purpose discovery. Her mission is to create a reflective and encouraging space where clients can grow in self-awareness and make aligned, confident choices.
Experience
:With a background in the nonprofit world, Teri began her career serving in Development for various non-profit organizations throughout Houston, Texas. After working as a consultant, she felt called to pursue coaching and has since worked with a wide range of individuals in one-on-one coaching sessions. Her practical, grace-filled approach helps clients move from uncertainty to clarity, as they learn to connect their natural abilities with meaningful life direction. She lives in Houston with her husband and two teenage children.
Education and Certifications
:Teri received her training through the Professional Christian Coaching Institute and is a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation, holding the ACC credential. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University. In her coaching practice, she combines proven tools like the Highlands Ability Battery and a deep understanding of personal development to support clients in finding clarity, purpose, and peace in the midst of life’s decisions.
