Focus
:If you have a learning difference, ADHD, or an autism spectrum disorder, you know your career strengths and needs are unique. Often, much attention is given to your areas of challenge, while far too little attention is given to developing self-awareness and insight into your specific gifts, talents, and abilities and how they can best suit you in the workplace or in furthering your education. My goal is to help you understand how your unique abilities and characteristics can be assets in the workplace and to help you find a career that aligns with your abilities, interests, and values.
Experience
:As a neuropsychologist with over 10 years of experience, I have worked with hundreds of individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including learning differences, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. That experience has taught me that your diagnosis is part of who you are but it does not define who you are. As a career consultant, my goal is to understand who you are as a person and to find the career that aligns with your abilities, skills, values, interests, and goals. Whether you are a student just beginning to think about what career field you might enjoy or what major to pursue in college, a young adult looking for guidance and direction, an entrepreneur starting or running your own business, a working adult wondering if your current career is a good fit, someone looking to change careers or get back into the workforce after a break, or an experienced professional looking to redefine your role or responsibilities to better align with who you are as a person, I can help you develop insight into yourself that allows you to make career decisions with clarity and intention.
