Focus
:I love working with young people and adults to help them find colleges and careers that fit. It is so hard to figure out what to do with your life, and I love that there is a tool out there like the Highlands Ability Battery to help people. I especially like working with teens, 20-somethings, and millennials because I see that the struggle is real- it is hard to know what the “right” career path is, and there is so much information out there that it can be truly overwhelming. I am proud to be able to offer people something that can help give clarity and confidence to their career choices.
Experience
:After over a decade in teaching, I decided that it was time for a change. I loved working with students and their families, but I wanted to do it in a different way. When I first found out about the Highlands Ability Battery, I knew that it was a tool that could really help people and I wanted to do more. I loved that it was all about finding and leveraging your strengths and that there was really no such thing as being “bad” at something- it is just a different set of strengths and challenges.
I started Elevate Career Consulting because I want to do just that- elevate people. Lift them up and show them how amazing and special they are. I want to help people to struggle less, feel good, and show up in meaningful ways in their own lives.
