Mary has a lifelong passion for personal growth and transformation, continuous learning, positive psychology, and helping others reach their potential—all things that are foundational to the practice of coaching (and the Highlands Whole Person Approach). The powerful and unique relationship between coach and coachee is built on trust and the desire for change. Because of that, Mary seeks to understand each client as an individual—what motivates them, what success looks like, how they learn most effectively, what challenges them.

Mary views clients as creative, fully capable, and competent in determining solutions that will work best for them. She views her coaching role as a thought-partner and champion—helping to promote new insights, clarifying what priorities and goals, and co-creating a customized strategy that helps them move forward. Key areas of her practice focus include emotional intelligence, change leadership, delegation, achievement & accountability, prioritization, imposter syndrome, communication, and career & professional development.

Experience

Mary is a business psychologist with more than 15 years’ experience as a consultant specializing in organization development, leadership development, change enablement, strategic communications, and adult learning. Over the last 10 years, Mary has also coached executives, people leaders, teams, individual contributors, and students and taught coaching, leadership, and organization development courses to undergraduate and graduate students as an adjunct faculty member for an accredited university.

Mary leads with deep curiosity and leverages a variety of concepts, models, and assessment tools to promote unique data-driven insights and actionable steps for each coachee. She consistently receives high scores from her coaching clients, many of whom renewed their engagements.
