With a focus on career exploration and transitions, I partner with clients seeking greater clarity, direction and confidence at transition points in their early or mid-careers. My approach is based on a core belief that everyone deserves to be seen and respected for who they are—free of judgment and “shoulds.”

The Highlands Ability Battery provides a strong foundation for impactful coaching conversations, empowering clients to explore their career options with greater precision, find work that’s rewarding and meaningful, and, ultimately, achieve their professional and personal goals.

When it’s time to showcase their strengths in writing, I also support them as an Academy Certified Resume Writer—creating résumés, cover letters, and e-notes that are powerful and results-driven.

But the HAB isn’t just for career changers.

As a parent and former educator, I can appreciate the incredible value in gaining self-awareness around natural abilities as early as possible to guide academic success. That’s why I find it so rewarding to work with high school and college students who use the HAB as a robust tool to help them map out their academic journeys, identify learning and study strategies aligned with their strengths, and get a head start on planning their careers.

I also frequently work with solopreneurs and small business owners who leverage insights from the HAB to run and grow their businesses more efficiently.

Regardless of age or career stage, I enjoy guiding growth-minded individuals through the exciting journey of self-discovery as part of their personal or professional development.

Experience

By degree—and at heart—I’m a teacher. I’m also a writer, editor, marketer and coach, roles I’ve been fortunate to combine throughout my career. The thread that weaves them all together is my philosophy that knowledge is power … and self-knowledge is a superpower.

As my career unfolded, helping people “figure it out” moved beyond the walls of a high school classroom. But empowering others to make informed decisions for themselves has been—and remains—the overarching mission of my full-circle career.
