Focus
:Sometimes we just need a fresh perspective. This is my most important work with clients. Perspective is the catalyst to my approach and the key to building the confidence you need to move forward. My focus is career coaching, life transitions, and career break coaching.
My goal is to guide clients toward a clear vision and path to new professional opportunities, job satisfaction, and career fulfillment. I do this by working with clients to clarify possibilities, identify assets & deficits, and gather the tools needed to build the leadership and the career they want.
I find great joy working with young professionals trying to do meaningful work that fits who they are. I also enjoy working and feel a deep kinship with professional men and women of color helping them lead others with confidence and impact.
Experience
:I started working as a professional coach in 2018, and I saw the incredible impact coaching had on a client’s ability to move toward and accomplish their goals. I have decades of experience with non-profit work in public health, research and church ministry. I understand the joy of working in an area of passion and longing to do this without burning out, but rather in a healthy, life-giving way. I understand the dilemmas facing non-profit leaders through my past experience in community-based work. I have worked with professionals from Accenture, Paychex, The Knight Foundation, KIPP Charter Schools, and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
Education and Certifications
:My background is rooted in public health work and church ministry in non-profit organizations, universities, and churches. I have a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. I am an ICF Associate Certified Coach and a Highlands Company Certified Consultant, and I am also trained in Motivational Interviewing.
