I specialize in helping people discover their niche and what ignites or hampers their passion for life and work. This process is essential for fostering personal health, happiness, and overall well-being. As a Highlands Certified Consultant, I support teams and individuals in their personal growth while offering professional development on various topics. These topics include: workplace culture and climate, mental health, school safety, educating the whole child, leadership development, human resources, ethics, professional standards, and the impact of trauma on behavior.

I provide clients with the tools necessary to identify key strengths, clarify opportunities, and create effective strategies for success.

Experience

I am a dedicated educator with over three decades of experience in a variety of leadership roles across two states in the southeastern US. My work centers around the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve at the highest level and that leaders are key in creating the environment for success. I began my career as a teacher and progressed as a guidance counselor, principal, director of human resources, and assistant superintendent. As such, I have a deep understanding of how the various components of an organization fit together to support both students and adults.

I am a CLAS Principal Mentor for the Alabama New Principal Mentoring Program, where I provide guidance and support to emerging school leaders. I have presented at the Alabama State Department of Education’s MEGA Conference and CLAS Law Conference. As the founder of Townsend Educational Services & Techniques (TEST), I continue supporting educators, leaders, and organizations through professional development programs.
