Gigi Burk is a Certified Highlands Ability Battery Consultant and the founder of Design for Direction, a consulting business dedicated to helping students and adults gain clarity about how they are uniquely designed.

With a background in recruitment, mentoring, and working closely with students and families, Gigi is passionate about helping individuals discover their natural abilities, strengths, and direction for the future. Her approach combines encouragement, insight, and practical guidance to help clients move forward with confidence instead of confusion

Experience

As a homeschool mom of seven and someone who has personally guided students through decisions involving college, career paths, and life transitions, Gigi understands the pressure many young adults and families feel when trying to determine “what’s next.” Through the Highlands Ability Battery and personalized feedback sessions, she helps clients better understand how they learn, process information, solve problems, and thrive in work and life environments.

Education and Certifications

In addition to her professional experience, Gigi taught a Classical Conversations Challenge IV program for four years, mentoring and guiding high school seniors through academics, leadership development, and future planning during a pivotal season of life. She has also traveled extensively with students and families on more than 29 college visits across the United States, giving her valuable firsthand insight into the college search and decision-making process.

Gigi believes every person was designed with purpose, and her goal is to help clients uncover the unique wiring that can lead them toward a more confident and fulfilling future.
