Elizabeth specializes in rehabilitation and career-focused counseling, an area central to the work of Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRCs), including vocational exploration, adjustment to disability or health conditions, and supporting individuals in building meaningful educational and career pathways. She works with youth, young adults, and adults, and especially enjoys working with individuals who are navigating transitional periods in their education or career. Elizabeth values helping clients clarify their goals, identify their strengths, and move toward greater independence and purpose.

Elizabeth’s approach is grounded in the scope of practice of rehabilitation counseling, integrating holistic, person-centered, and strengths-based methods. She believes the counseling process should be collaborative and empowering. Through thoughtful guidance, practical strategies, and supportive dialogue, she works alongside her clients so they feel confident in their decisions and empowered to move forward in meaningful ways.

Experience

Elizabeth has over 10 years of experience as a counselor, working with individuals ages 17 and older across a range of educational, vocational, and life transitions. Her background in both rehabilitation counseling and mental health counseling allows her to support clients in navigating personal, medical, and career-related challenges. Her training as both a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) allows her to integrate mental health and vocational perspectives to help clients pursue purpose, fulfillment, and meaning in life despite illness or life challenges.

Education and Certifications

Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
