Diane Foster, MCC, MA Career Development
107 Centre Court
I am passionate about my work in supporting both leaders and students in improved decision-making for their careers and lives. With an ever-more complex global economy, and reductions in support for education, it gives me great joy to support clients’ optimum alignment with the necessary training, coursework, and behavioral experiences that can ensure their success, no matter their age. The Highlands reports, including the wonderful new “Highlands Leadership Report” and “Career Exploration Supplement for Adults and Students” receive rave reviews from my clients for the clarity their reports provide. I’m proud to see the joy on students’ faces as they learn in our review sessions how to make every course choice count toward a meaningful career aligned with their strengths. Sophisticated adult leader clients are equally happy to note that they have great options for learning and advancement in their dramatically changing workplaces as they face career and development decisions. The competency-building resource units in my Skill Kit for Leaders: “Real-Time” Resources for Leadership Development program offers a great deal of support for what they discover. Access to the 42 leadership competency units, which align with and support the HAB results, is included in all of my coaching packages.
Certified a Master Coach by the International Coaching Federation, Diane’s roots as a high school English teacher and her MA degree in Career Development have led her to support people of all ages in career management. She understands life inside organizations, having held senior-level positions in Advanced Micro Devices and CSAA, as well as consulting and coaching in organization development and leadership in every industry. Her expertise and advanced training in emotional intelligence, positive psychology, neuroscience, conflict management, and dialogue, coupled with her positive energy and savvy, has enabled her successful support of C-suite leaders, teams, and individuals on strategy and alignment of competencies for both personal and bottom line success.
In addition to her client work, she has been extended faculty for UCSF in their MHROD program, John F. Kennedy University’s Coaching Certificate program, and has been the Director of ICF Competency Development for both the College of Executive Coaching and the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland’s Coaching Certificate programs where she has trained and mentored hundreds of other coaches.
