Focus

:

Exploring the essential human questions and creating pathways of possibility for students in high school and college.

When working with students I focus on the following questions: Who am I and what is the good in the world I’m meant to do? What is the examined life and how do I live it? How do I find my calling and what does this have to do with getting a job or determining my college major? How can I flourish in the present moment and continue to grow into the best version of myself?

These are the questions worth asking and living into because they provide meaning and purpose to our lives. In our work together, I help clients understand the importance of these reflections while creating a practical strategy for the next steps in life.

Experience

:

I am a life-long learner who has experience in variety of environments including: Starting two successful college advising departments (private and public), community college instructor, humanities teacher, senior thesis advisor, university academic and career counselor, and scholarship reader for multiple organizations. With over twenty years in education, I am able to help clients think deeply and execute a successful plan of action.
