Chris Macky
Focus
:I specialize in individual development for students, recent graduates, young professionals, church leaders, and retirees – especially those in transition. The four key elements to my approach are awareness, humility, honesty, and devotion. These elements pave the way for life-changing shifts–from doing to being, from reacting to responding, from grasping to receiving–that lead to becoming who we are called to be, doing what we are called to do, and going where we are called to go.
Experience
:My experience includes working with students (high school, college) as well as those in the workforce who have arrived at crucial decision-making moments in their lives and careers. As the Call and College Advisor at a Christian School, I had the privilege of teaching upper-classmen a powerful process of self- and calling-discovery, answering questions such as “Who am I?” and “What am I to do with my life?” and “Where am I called to do it?” This position also allowed me to walk alongside students and their parents in the college search process, helping them to stay focused on what truly mattered to them.
I have also had the privilege of coaching pastors and consulting with churches who were in transition in their careers and mission.
Additionally, my coaching career includes head coaching high school sports, such as volleyball, basketball, ultimate frisbee, and track and field.
