I maximize leaders and teams so they can create extraordinary workplaces. The conversations I often have with business leaders are around employee placement, engagement, and development. The Highlands Ability Battery is a fantastic tool that can inform all three of these areas. I love seeing sparks fly when people understand their abilities better…and they start using them more actively. Or when they figure out the reasons they’re feeling unmotivated at work…and they take control of their own engagement. Or when teams embrace their diversity of abilities…and they function better. Being present for these exciting discoveries is why I use Highlands.
For the past 20 years, I’ve worked in a variety of executive leadership roles in sales, marketing, and human resources. As Chief People Officer, I created a successful employee development and engagement program. As word spread, I began getting invited to share our strategies with other organizations. As demand for my time increased in both businesses, I had to make a choice between one or the other. I chose to go full-time with my own business.
At Chris Heinz Co., we use strategic consulting, training, coaching, and assessments to help leaders and teams to create extraordinary workplaces. Highlands is one of the key tools that we use. In addition to working with several leadership programs, I serve as faculty to the Trinity Fellows, a vocational leadership program based in Charlottesville, VA. We’ve worked with over 100 teams, led over 250 workshops, and coached with hundreds of people toward greater fulfillment in life and work.
