Beth Logan Woods is a Shreveport native who owns At Home Academy Educational Consulting and has been in the Education field for over30 years. Beth is a member of the National Tutoring Association and currently has 30 private tutors who tutor throughout the city for all ages/subject matter and she conducts small group ACT/SAT test prep classes. Beth is a certified IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association) professional and privately consults with students and families to assist students in choosing schools, colleges or programs that meet their needs and goals.

Experience

Beth has served on boards at Magnolia Charter Schools and at Robinson Film Center. She is currently on the board of The Ross Lynn Foundation and she is a Haven House Leader for Community Renewal. She is a also a deacon of First Presbyterian Church in Shreveport.

Beth and her husband Ben have 3 grown boys.

Education and Certifications

Beth is also a certified consultant for The Highlands Company. Beth administers the Highlands Ability Battery which uses 19 work samples to guide young people to choose college majors and careers that match with their natural abilities.
