As a veteran in the field of education with over 27 years of experience, it is my passion to help students identify their natural aptitudes and find their dream careers. Applying to college and choosing a major can be an overwhelming process! College is an expensive investment and it is my desire to ensure that students do not waste their time in college without clear goals and a plan to achieve them.
By utilizing the Highlands Ability Battery, I am committed to helping people:
• identify their natural aptitudes
• explore career options that align with their natural aptitudes
• create a streamlined plan to reach their career goals
• determine the level of education necessary to reach career goals and identify the best schools and programs for those goals
• choose the best major for their career goals
I was a teacher for 5 years, and I have 20 years of experience as a college and career counselor where I have helped over 3000 students navigate the college admissions process. College counseling is about so much more than just getting into college, it is about deciding what you are going to do when you get there. I help students focus on career development and create an efficient plan to choose the right major and take the right classes in college to set them up for a successful career in a field they love! Working in the field of education for over 27 years has been incredibly rewarding and I relish every opportunity that I get to help someone discover their strengths and passions and turn that into a rewarding career.
