Andrea Tropeano, BCC, ACC
I am dedicated to helping individuals identify their best career path. I opened my practice to serve people who face obstacles and seek coaching for a fulfilling career path. In addition to midlife career switchers and high school and college kids, I have successfully assisted career explorers who identify as dyslexic and have ADHD and others with anxiety, depression, OCD, and post-concussion challenges.
Growing up when ADD was not well-known, I knew there was something different about my approach to learning. I pursued a double Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Connecticut. After graduating college, I read “Driven to Distraction” and immediately recognized unique traits within myself. Thus, I began my journey by overcoming life’s obstacles, identifying my strengths, and incorporating personal and professional growth and success tools. I completed a Master of Arts in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven.
As a seasoned human resources professional, I spent most of my career coaching others and recruiting. I worked closely with candidates and hiring managers to provide great experiences during the interview process. As a result, I have a solid understanding of the hiring process, employers’ needs’ and most importantly, the individual’s journey to identify their right job. In addition, I have guided leaders and employees towards positive working relationships, employing effective communication tools. I started Impact Career Growth to help individuals plan the next phase of their school and professional journey and find satisfying careers.
