The Highlands Company offers a multi-session training program designed to educate and certify Affiliates to administer and interpret the Highlands Ability Battery and to conduct individual and group feedback among clients. After certification, the Affiliate is authorized to purchase the Battery from the Company and to offer it to his or her clients in connection with career assessment, career planning or career counseling.
Highlands invites candidates who wish to be trained and certified as Affiliates to submit an application setting forth their educational and professional qualifications. Get application here.
Training is conducted either live or by telephone among groups of 5-8 candidates. Telephone sessions consist of eight two-hour sessions. Live sessions are conducted in Atlanta or Larchmont, New York over two consecutive days. For more information click here.
Corporate Train-the-Trainer
Recently, several companies have asked us to train their employees to administer and interpret the Ability Battery in connection with corporate employee programs & workshops. In response to these requests, the Highlands Company has created the Highlands Train-The-Trainer Program. Under this program, Highlands Company Affiliates will train qualified corporate employees in the administration and interpretation of the Highlands Ability Battery. The training will consist of: completion of the Battery itself by each trainee; instruction in the concept, definition and measurement of innate individual abilities; attendance at a seminar relating the Highlands Ability Battery reports to company objectives; interpretation of Highlands Battery charts and graphs; training in the conduct of company workshops in employee and professional development and in team building, through an understanding of individual abilities; and general exposure to the utilization of Highlands principles in company plans and programs.
